The purpose of the Central Union is to implement breeding programs at regional or national levels, as determined by the Ministry, to improve the genetic potential of domestically bred, imported, and local breeds to raise highly productive animals. The Ministry also carries out all animal breeding activities and develops animal husbandry policies.
